US 1&9 closed in Woodbridge Township due to building fire

WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, NJ – All lanes were closed on a section of US 1&9 in Woodbridge Township due to a building fire on Wednesday morning.

According to 511 New Jersey, the closure was affecting the northbound lanes near Route 35 from about 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

All northbound lanes were closed and detoured while firefighters attending to building fire in the area.

Further details about the situation have not been made available.

The roadway in the area has since reopened.
