ROSELLE PARK, NJ – The victim of a previously-reported crash in Roselle Park has been identified, according to the Union Daily Voice.
The victim is Darío Miranda, a 34-year-old man from Elizabeth, who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Dalton Street and East Westfield Avenue, at about 5:25 p.m., as Miranda was crossing the street.
He was struck by the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck, a 53-year-old man from Roselle Park.
Miranda was brought to a local hospital, where he later died of severe injuries sustained during the crash.
The driver remained at the scene after the crash and is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
