Over-height tractor-trailer closes NJ 208 in Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN, NJ – All lanes on New Jersey 208 were closed on Monday afternoon after an over-height tractor-trailer attempted to drive under a low overpass.

According to 511 New Jersey, the incident was on New Jersey 208 at the Maple Avenue overpass in the northbound lanes.

The tractor-trailer attempted to drive under the overpass at about 12:37 p.m. and tied up the roadway for more than an hour. All lanes were closed and traffic was detoured after the accident.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.
