LITTLE FALLS, NJ- A pedestrian was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train in Little Falls on Thursday morning, according to local media sources.
At approximately 7:32 am, Montclair-Boonton Line train 1002 was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 8:17 struck an unidentified female pedestrian in Little Falls. The incident occurred near Main Street and Dewey Street.
The rail service was suspended immediately after the crash, and the victim has pronounced dead shortly after.
No other injuries were reported caused by the accident.
