HAMMONTON, NJ- A NJ Transit bus veered off road and crashed, injuring multiple people, on the Atlantic City Expressway early Tuesday, according to NJ.com.
Multiple people, including passengers and the bus driver, were transported to an area hospital after a bus headed from Atlantic City towards Philadelphia went off-road and crashed into a group of trees. Officials arrived to the scene and had to extricate the driver out of the bus. Four of the nine people on board were hospitalized for minor injuries.
No further details are available at this time. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
