Motorcyclist killed in Harrison Township intersection crash

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — A 61-year-old man died last Thursday afternoon, October 19, after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Harrison Township, reports Daily Voice.

The crash happened on Mullica Hill Road at Lambs Road and was first reported at about 4:15 p.m.

According to local police, Woolwich resident Michael McCulley was operating a motorcycle westbound on Mullica Hill Road. At one point, he passed a line of westbound vehicles that were waiting at a red light. Moments after entering the intersection with Lambs Road, his motorcycle hit the pickup’s passenger side while the second vehicle was turning left onto Lambs Road north from Mullica Hill Road east.

First responders pronounced McCulley deceased at the scene, confirmed officials.

The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital for an evaluation, but no other major injuries have been reported.
