SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – A man died after he crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on Route 1 in South Brunswick early yesterday morning, according to information from NJ.com.
The crash happened on northbound Rt. 1 near New Road at around 12:30 a.m., when a 40-year-old man from New Brunswick collided with the back of a tractor-trailer.
The driver was taken to the hospital in New Brunswick, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased.
The truck driver, a 56-year-old man from Somerset, was not immediately reported as injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
