Driver dies after car hits trees off ACE in Winslow Township

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — A 41-year-old woman from Pennsylvania died early Sunday after a single-vehicle wreck on the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow Township, reports NJ.com.

The fatal accident happened on the westbound expressway at milepost 37.6, before Williamstown Road. It was first reported just before 6:30 a.m.

According to officials, the victim, a Philadelphia resident, was driving westbound when her car ran off the roadway for reasons still being investigated.

No information regarding the victim’s identity has been disclosed at this time.
