Building fire in Passaic killed one

PASSAIC, NJ- A fire in a building resulted in one death and a fire department response in Passaic on Wednesday afternoon, according to NJ.com.

The fire occurred in a restaurant and two attached apartments on 118 Passaic Street at approximately 3:00pm. Fire Department officials battled the fire and declared it contained at approximately 5:00pm, however, one died in the blaze.
