NEWARK, NJ – One person was hospitalized after a driver crashed into a house in northern Newark early this morning, according to information from local media sources.
The crash happened near the intersection of Chester Avenue and McCarter Highway at around 3:35 a.m., when a driver crashed into a home near the Exit 8 ramp.
After being extricated from the wreckage, one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Nobody was injured from within the home.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
