BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A 49-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in the Marlton area of Evesham Township, according to Daily Voice.
The incident occurred on the 50 block of North Maple Avenue. near Marlgreen Tract and Eisenhower Park. Evesham Police and Fire Department crews responded to the scene at around 8:30 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the crash, but first responders arrived to find the male pedestrian suffering from major bodily trauma. The victim was transported by medevac helicopter to Cooper Hospital in Camden, where he was listed in stable condition.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
At this time, authorities have not reported any pending charges or citations. An investigation remains underway.
