Vehicle Crashed into Train on Tracks in Harrison

HARRISON, NJ- A driver, potentially under the influence of alcohol or drugs, drove onto train tracks in Harrison and collided with an NJ Transit train late Sunday, according to local media sources.

At approximately 11:27pm, a vehicle somehow drove onto train tracks near Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard in Harrson, near Kearny Junction, and was struck by NJ Transit train 6945 to Dover. The vehicle was unoccupied when found by officials, but it is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. There were approximately 123 people on board at the time of the incident.
