Multi-family building fire reported in Newark

NEWARK, NJ- A fire in a building that housed multiple families occurred in Newark early Tuesday, according to local media sources.

At approximately 12:00am, fire department officials responded to reports of the blaze near 121 Union Street. The fire was found to engulf multiple floors of the building, while officials battled the fire for nearly an hour. No injuries have been reported at this time.
