MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 23-year-old man died late last Wednesday, October 4, after a single-vehicle rollover crash in southwest Princeton, reports Daily Voice.
The fatal accident took place on a stretch of Mercer Road near Quaker Road, in an area southwest of Princeton University. Princeton Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 11:45 p.m.
According to a preliminary investigation, Matt Leon, of Hamilton, was driving southbound on Mercer Road when, for reasons still unclear, his vehicle veered into the shoulder of the roadway. It then collided with the boulder and rolled over.
The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed officials. No other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved.
