Woman left hurt after car hits 3 homes in Hasbrouck Heights

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 46-year-old Lodi woman was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after her Jeep hit three homes and overturned in Hasbrouck Heights, reports Daily Voice.

Hasbrouck Heights Police, borough firefighters, and first responders were called to the scene at 125 Passaic Avenue, off Wood Street, shortly after 1:30 p.m.

According to authorities, the woman was driving a Jeep that ran off the roadway and collided with three residences. The vehicle then rolled until coming to rest on its side in a private driveway.

Borough police tended to the female driver before she was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

No one else was reported injured.

At this time, investigators have found “no aggravating factors” in the crash, but the driver has since received a summons for careless driving.
