Woman Killed, 4 People Hurt in Early-Morning Accident

LINDEN, NJ – A 24-year-old woman was killed, and four people were hurt in a crash in Linden early this morning, according to NJ.com.

The accident happened on the Elizabeth Avenue and Linden Avenue bridge, when two vehicles collided.

A 24-year-old woman from Elizabeth and a male passenger were ejected from their vehicle during the crash.

The female victim died at the scene. The passenger was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

Three people in the other vehicle sustained non-critical wounds and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
