MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — The driver and passenger who died after a crash with a box truck Tuesday in Sayreville have been identified, reports NJ.com.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said the fatal collision occurred in the area of Bordentown Avenue and Waterworks Road, just before 4:00 p.m.

According to officials, Domingo Coach-Sam, 27, was driving three passengers in a Nissan when the vehicle veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the truck.

Both Coach-Sam and the passenger seated behind him, 28-year-old Gaspa Sam Ciprian, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The front-seat passenger and the passenger seated behind them were both rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries. No updates about their conditions have been released as of Thursday morning.

An unspecified number of occupants in the box truck sustained minor injuries.

No other details have been released at this time, but the MCPO said no charges are expected to be filed since the causing driver is deceased.
