The collision occurred on U.S. Route 322 (South Black Horse Pike) near Ocean Lane on Wednesday, December 22, at about 5:40 p.m.
According to Monroe Township Police, the young man was driving a Chevrolet Corvette at about 119 miles per hour just three seconds before the vehicle hit the rear-passenger side of a westbound Honda Accord that was turning into a parking lot. The driver of the Accord, a 52-year-old Marlton man, was ejected from the car. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Williamstown man sustained a minor injury, but it was unclear whether he was taken to a hospital. On Friday, January 6th, he was formally charged with “death by auto” and “assault by auto” for his role in the fatal wreck.Written by: Brach Eichler Injury Lawyers
