Update: Identity of Collingswood accident victim released

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ – Police have released the identity of the victim of a fatal accident in Collingswood on Monday afternoon, according to NJ.com.

The 29-year-old man was driving on Route 130 near Dwight Street when he was involved in the single-vehicle accident that took his life at about 4:30 p.m. Elliot Lopez, of Camden, died at the scene after his vehicle ran into a utility pole.

The passenger in the vehicle was taken to an area hospital and treated for injuries.
