Update: George Washington Bridge accident victims ID’d

FORT LEE, NJ – The two victims of Thursday’s fatal George Washington Bridge crash have been identified, according to Daily Voice.

A Honda CR-V, driven by 52-year-old Muharem Frluckji, crashed with a Chevrolet Corvette on the lower level of the bridge at about 9:30 a.m.

Officials arrived on the scene to find the Corvette in the right lane and the CR-V in the center median. The Corvette had damage to its front end, while the CR-V was damaged on the side and rear.

Frluckji and his passenger, 47-year-old Bisere Frluckji, died as a result of their injuries. They were both from the Bronx.

The Corvette’s driver was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
