NEWARK, NJ – An early morning crash with a dump truck in Newark on Thursday took the life of two young adult brothers, according to NJ.com.
A black Acura SUV, driven by a 32-year-old, crashed with a dump truck on Lafayette Street at about 2:25 a.m.
The two victims, 22-year-old Rodger and 26-year-old Robert Narainsammy were the front seat and backseat passengers when the collision happened. They both died at the scene.
The Acura’s driver was not fatally injured in the crash but their exact condition is unknown. The dump truck driver escaped unscathed and remained on the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
