Two people were transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in Union Thursday evening, March 5.
According to authorities from Union, emergency responders were called to the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Spruce Street at around 5:20 p.m. after reports of a three-vehicle crash with injuries.
When emergency responders arrived at the location, they found one vehicle wedged in between two other vehicles. Firefighters quickly stabilized the vehicle and the driver was able to get out of the car.
Two people were injured in the crash and were transported to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services with injuries that are determined to be non-life-threatening.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash.

Vehicular Accidents

We urge drivers to observe and follow the laws while driving, and to remain focused while driving so that they can react accordingly to situations that may suddenly pop up on the roadway. Drivers should be more careful when driving while visibility is low, and they should also check their car before going on the roadway. Being more diligent and prepared can help lessen accidents on the roads of New Jersey.
