Truck driver hospitalized after Bedminster rollover crash

BEDMINSTER, NJ – A tractor-trailer driver was taken to the hospital after his truck overturned on Route 78 in Bedminster on Tuesday morning.

According to RLS Media, the driver was eastbound when his truck, carrying a load of tires, overturned near milepost 30 just before 6:30 a.m. A picture from the scene shows foggy conditions and tires and debris spread across the highway lanes.

The driver was taken to a local hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

It is unclear exactly why the accident happened and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
