Truck Crash Spills Fuel on Route 185 in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ – All lanes were closed after a tractor-trailer accident caused a fuel spill on Route 185 in Jersey City on Thursday afternoon.

According to 511 New Jersey, a tractor-trailer crashed and overturned on Route 185 south near Route 440 at about 3:04 p.m.

All lanes and closed and traffic was detoured around the area.

A fuel spill was also reported at the scene.

It remains unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash or if any other vehicles were involved.
