Tractor-trailer disabled on Route 21 in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – A tractor-trailer was causing delays on Route 21 in Newark after becoming disabled in the travel lanes on Thursday afternoon.

According to 511 New Jersey, the tractor-trailer was driving south on Route 21 when it became disabled near Parkhurst Street around 1:30 p.m.

Traffic was tied around the area of the incident because to the right lane of two lanes being closed. Drivers were advised to expect delays of up to 10 minutes.

It is unknown whether the driver of the truck was injured or the other circumstances surrounding the incident.
