WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ- A teenager was killed on Sunday night when he lost control of his vehicle in Williamstown, causing a vehicle crash and car fire, according to NJ.com.
The 17-year-old was driving a 2016 Nissan Maxima on Route 322, near Coles Mill Road, when he crossed the center median, lost control of the vehicle, spun and went off the west shoulder of the road. The vehicle then struck a utility pole, snapping it at the base, and went on to hit two trees. The violent collision caused a car fire, and the driver was unable to get out of the vehicle in time.
The driver died at the scene from injuries.
