BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 17-year-old boy was injured late Monday afternoon due to a crash that caused his car to land near an apartment complex in Hackensack, reports Daily Voice.
The accident occurred in the area of 174 Polifly Road, east of the westbound Interstate 80 offramp.
It was unclear what led up to the collision, but the teen was driving a Honda Civic when it collided with an SUV, causing it to land against the front steps of a nearby garden apartment complex.
First responders transported the teen driver to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. It was unclear whether the other driver was hurt.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, suggesting significant property damage.
