BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 16-year-old was hospitalized with serious injuries Tuesday night after being hit by a utility company vehicle in New Milford, reports Daily Voice.
The incident occurred in the area of Madison Avenue and River Road, just before 6:00 p.m.
According to Borough of New Milford Police, the boy was traveling on foot across Madison Avenue at the intersection when he was struck by the company vehicle.
The teen, who suffered serious injuries, was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center.
No information on the driver has been released at this time. An investigation by borough police was underway.
