BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Property damage was reported Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle wreck sent an SUV through the garage of a Ridgewood residence, reports Daily Voice.

The accident occurred at a private property on North Van Dien Street near Beverly Road, at about 3:45 p.m.

An early investigation indicates an Acura MDX collided with an Audi A5, and the impact sent the Acura crashing into the garage’s side wall and through the garage door at the opposite end. The SUV continued to travel through a fence before coming to rest on the lawn near the home’s porch.

Ridgewood police, firefighters, tow crews, and a building inspector all responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported in the event, but along with the involved vehicles, the garage was significantly damaged. A nearby street sign was also torn from the ground.

At this time, no pending charges have been reported.
