BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two people suffered minor injuries early Sunday when their vehicle crashed into an auto repair business in Bergenfield, according to Daily Voice.
The accident occurred at Auto Clinic Repair Tech Service, off of West Main Street, at around 1:40 a.m. Local police, firefighters, and the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps all responded to the scene.
Authorities did not say what caused the wreck, but a Nissan Rogue SUV slammed into the building that houses the business, causing the structure to collapse.
Both the driver and their passenger sustained minor injuries, but it was unclear whether they had to be taken to a hospital.
A building inspector was called to the scene, and it was later determined the building will have to be razed.
At this time, no charges or summonses have been reported.
