Rollover crash blocks lane on GSP near Hazlet Township

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — A rollover wreck Tuesday morning close a left lane on the Garden State Parkway near Hazlet Township, according to 511NJ GSP.

The accident happened on the southbound parkway south of Exit 117 to New Jersey Route 36. It was first reported by 511 at 8:08 a.m.

Officials have not released further details regarding the circumstances behind the event, but the overturned vehicle blocked the lane for nearly 30 minutes.

By 8:37 a.m., the roadway was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
