JERSEY CITY, NJ – A 67-year-old woman was seriously injured when a vehicle struck her in Jersey City Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Daily Voice, the woman was crossing the street between two stopped vehicles on John F. Kennedy Boulevard at Montgomery Street. A driver then accelerated and hit the woman.
The woman was taken to Jersey City Medical Center with serious injuries to her lower body.
The driver remained on the scene and spoke with police.
