Pedestrian potentially fatally injured by Lumberton accident

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – One person suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Route 38 in Lumberton Township on Friday morning.

According to Daily Voice, the man was struck near Eayerestown Road at about 6 a.m.

An unconfirmed report stated that the victim had suffered “obviously fatal injuries” but the death of the victim has not been confirmed at this time.

All lanes were closed and detoured on Friday morning.

The Fire Police strike team was called to the scene. Further details about the accident have not been released.
