Pedestrian killed in accident on Route 365 in Trenton

TRENTON, NJ –  The Daily Sentinel reports that a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Route 365 in Trenton on Sunday.

Authorities say the crash took place just after 12:00 a.m. on Route 365, near South Side Road. A 47-year-old male pedestrian was on foot in an unlit portion of the highway when he was struck by a 45-year-old male driver of a pickup truck travelling eastbound.

The pedestrian was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.

Police continue to investigate this incident.
