BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 29-year-old man suffered a minor head injury Wednesday evening when he was hit by a vehicle off New Jersey Route 17 in East Rutherford, reports Daily Voice.
East Rutherford Police said the incident occurred near the northbound lanes and Paterson Plank Road, northwest of MetLife Stadium, just before 5:30 p.m.
An early investigation shows a 42-year-old Hawthorne driver was turning left onto Paterson Plank Road from northbound NJ-17 when her 2020 Chevy Equinox struck the male pedestrian.
The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with a minor head injury.
As of this writing, no summonses have been reported. An investigation remains ongoing.
