FORT LEE, NJ- One man was injured after losing control of his ice cream truck and falling off of the highway and into a ravine on Thursday afternoon, according to NBC New York.

Just after 4pm, the 22-year-old driving the Lexylicious Ice Cream Truck lost control of the vehicle on Henry Hudson Drive, north of the George Washington Bridge. The vehicle went off the road and fell approximately 20 feet into a ravine, hitting trees and landing on its side on its way to Ross Dock, according to officials.

Three witnesses of the incident broke the windows of the truck to pull out the driver, a 22-year-old from Toms River. He suffered only minor injuries, and was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.

The owner of Lexylicious Ice Cream, Alexa Hesse, believes the accident may be caused by a rock on the road.

The reasons for this accident are still under investigation.
