WEST MILFORD, NJ – A single-vehicle crash in West Milford last night claimed the life of one 19-year-old and severely injured another, according to the Daily Voice.
The collision happened at 120 Lincoln Avenue at about 9:35 p.m., when the driver of a 1999 BMW 323, 19-year-old West Milford resident Alexander P. Vanker, went off the side of the road, up an embankment, and crashed into a front yard.
One person was ejected during the crash.
19-year-old Daniel P. Kearney, of West Milford, was taken to Chilton Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:19 p.m.
Another passenger, 19-year-old Kyle R. Guell, also of West Milford, was airlifted to the hospital in Paterson.
No charges have yet been filed, and authorities continue to investigate the collision.
