GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — At least one person was injured Tuesday afternoon due to a collision on Interstate 295 in West Deptford Township, according to Daily Voice.
The accident occurred on the southbound interstate, south of Exit 22, near Hessian Avenue/Route 642. It was first reported by the New Jersey Department of Transportation at around 3:50 p.m.
While the circumstances of the crash remain unclear, two right lanes out of the four southbound lanes were blocked as authorities responded to the scene.
The NJSP has not confirmed the number of people hurt in the event, but said the injuries were not considered serious or life-threatening.
No charges have been reported as of this writing.
