NJ Police Officer Injured After Crash in Newark

NEWARK, NJ- A New Jersey Police Officer was injured in a crash near Clifton Avenue on Tuesday night, according to local media sources.

At approximately 11:55pm, a NJPD Officer pulled over a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Clifton Avenue and Orange Street. Shortly after, the patrol vehicle was struck by another passing vehicle, causing a minor injury. The officer was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
