N.J. Police Officer Collides into Other Vehicle on Duty

WOODBRIDGE, NJ- A police officer en route to help save a choking baby got into an accident with another vehicle on Sunday evening in Woodbridge, according to NJ.com.

At approximately 6:35pm, a police officer collided in a vehicle with another vehicle near the intersection of Port Reading Avenue and Rahway Avenue. The officer was on duty, and on their way to assist a choking baby. Another officer was able to save the baby after the accident.

The officer complained of pain, and the other driver suffered a cut on his hand. None of the injuries were serious. We will be monitoring for further information.
