Motorcyclist who died on NJ Turnpike in Elizabeth ID’d

UNION COUNTY, NJ – Police have identified the victim of a motorcycle accident at a New Jersey Turnpike toll plaza in Elizabeth on Monday morning.

Nj.com reported that the 24-year-old New York man was ejected from his motorcycle when he struck a concrete barrier near Interchange 13A at about 9:10 a.m.

The victim has been identified as Luis Cerda Jimenez. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.
