Motorcyclist hurt in collision near Elizabeth intersection

UNION COUNTY, NJ — One person was injured Sunday night when their motorcycle collided with another vehicle in southeast Elizabeth, according to local media.

The accident occurred near the corner of Elizabeth Avenue and 3rd Street, in the Elizabethport area. It was first reported at around 9:50 p.m.

Authorities have not provided a possible cause of the crash, but the rider appears to have been ejected from the bike during the crash.

No other major injuries were reported in the event, and no further details have been made available at this time.
