BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A 50-year-old man from Tuckerton died Sunday, June 25, after a motorcycle accident on County Road 653 in Bass River, reports Daily Voice.

New Jersey State Police said the wreck occurred on the eastbound lanes of the road at milepost 0.5. Troopers were dispatched to the scene at around 7:36 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates the victim, Christopher Golden, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound when, for reasons still unknown, the bike traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree.

Golden, who was ejected as a result of the crash, succumbed to his injuries, confirmed officials.
