Motorcyclist dies after crash on US-30 near NW Atlantic City

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — A 61-year-old man from Pleasantville died Sunday evening after a motorcycle crash on U.S. Route 30 near northwest Atlantic City, reports Daily Voice.

Atlantic City Police said the fatal accident happened on the eastbound side of US-30, near mile marker 54.

A preliminary investigation and witness accounts indicate the man was operating a motorcycle when he veered off the roadway, causing the bike to collide with a tree.

The victim, who was found to have ejected from the bike, was pronounced deceased at the scene, confirmed officials.

No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.

An investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
