BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — A 47-year-old man died Saturday night after a crash involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles on Route 72 in Woodland Township, reports Daily Voice.

New Jersey State Police said the fatal accident occurred at the intersection with County Route 532 at about 8:50 p.m.

An early investigation indicates Eric Tomko was operating a motorcycle eastbound on Route 72. As he approached the intersection, he collided with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado whose driver was trying to turn left onto County Route 532.

Authorities said the male rider ejected from the motorcycle, and both the victim and the bike collided with the front passenger side of a Ford Escape that was traveling behind the Chevrolet.

First responders pronounced Tomko deceased at the scene, confirmed officials.

No further details have been released at this time, as an investigation remains in progress.
