RED BANK, NJ – A man from Middletown died in a rollover car crash on Route 35 in Red Bank this morning, according to information from NJ.com.
The crash happened at around 10:15 a.m. on Coopers Bridge, near Route 35 and Rector Place, when a Ford F-350 pickup truck and a Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 SUV collided. At least one of the involved vehicles then overturned.
The driver of the SUV, a 56-year-old man from Middletown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, a 63-year-old Long Branch man, was not significantly hurt in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
