MERCER COUNTY, NJ – According to Daily Voice, a Trenton teenager died in a crash on Interstate 195 in Hamilton Township on Thursday.
The single-vehicle accident, which left 16-year-old Yelitza Rivera dead and two others injured, happened near Exit 38 westbound at about 6:39 p.m.
The circumstances around why their Mitsubishi Galant left the roadway and overturned are under investigation.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, 22-year-old Karla Sanchez, suffered serious injuries. A second passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was also transported to the hospital with minor injures.
Rivera was pronounced dead after at Capital Health.
