Man killed on dirt bike after being struck by pickup

VINELAND, NJ – A man was killed when his dirt bike was struck by a pickup at an intersection on Saturday evening.

The victim was riding a Kawasaki dirt bike southbound on South Delsea Drive at Michael Avenue, reports the Daily Voice. A man in a Ford pickup was traveling the opposite direction on South Delsea Drive. The truck driver attempted a left turn into a business parking lot and struck the dirt bike.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
