MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 35-year-old man died Saturday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in the Mercerville area of Hamilton Township, reports Daily Voice.

The fatal collision occurred on White Horse Avenue, in front of Killarney’s Publick House, at about 4:45 p.m.

An early investigation shows the victim was driving a Land Rover northbound on the road when his vehicle was hit by a Honda that was pulling out of the pub’s parking lot. The two vehicles sideswiped during the contact, causing the Land Rover to veer off the roadway and strike a utility pole.

The victim driver died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.

The driver of the Honda, 39, whose car came to rest in the roadway, was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

At this time, no other information has been made available. The Hamilton Police Department’s Traffic Unit asks anyone who witnessed the crash to contact investigators at 609-581-4000.
