WILLINGBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ – A pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Willingboro Township early yesterday morning, according to NJ.com.
The crash happened in the Garfield Park area on Garfield Drive near Eastbrook Lane at around 2 a.m., after a pedestrian, who was identified only as a man in his 30s, was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.
The victim was later declared deceased. His cause of death was determined to be massive internal injuries.
Police continue to search for the hit-and-run driver and are asking those with information about the crash to contact Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113 or tips@co.burlington.nj.us.
